Started to install the .030 O/S Pistons in my new motor over the weekend and broke a piston ring! I think I tightened the ring compressor too tight, too fast. Now I need one ring! Does anybody have a +.030 or +.040 ring lying around that they don't need? Moss is looking to see if they have broken up sets.

The great folks at Moss spent an hour looking through their returns dept and came up ZIP. Maybe someone out there????

Hap Waldrop at ACME speed has done it again! He put me in touch with a local ring MFG and I will have the perfect ring tomorrow for less than $10. Thanks Hap.
