OK, let's get a poll answered here for attendance.

Paul, add 1 more circle. You buy ,I'll fly.Be there with bells on!

Don,

I'll buy all the lobster that you can eat and all the beer you can drink if you can get there.

NO WAY BILL! This does not apply to you, just Don!

I've been checking the weather forecast and it's improving for this Sunday, earlier this week they were predicting rain, now it's partly cloudy and in the 60's!

I won't have a car but I haven't missed the Brit by the Sea meet in years!
Waterford, CT Weather forecast

I will be there if the creeks don’t rise. Good weather for a change. It has been terrible for years, cold, drizzle or both. I think that it was four years ago that the weather was decent.

I did not pre-register so I am planning to get there early to get that done.

It is a great venue and I am looking forward to it. See you all there.

I'll be there if they ever get round to cashing my check!

<edit> Never mind - they cashed it today. I'll be there in the TR6.

OK, where's Greenie and his lovely wife? They have TWO great cars to take, his BRG TR6 and her burgundy Spitfire, both of which are really nice.

Where is it? Is there a website with details?

Couldn't find anything with a cursory search.

Cheers,
Gavin

I looked at this because it's not far from my brother's house, but my B won't be ready.
And I'm racing the other car at Pocono that day anyway.

Here's the info:

June 1 — Brits by the Sea, sponsored by the Connecticut MG Club, Harkness State Park, Waterford, CT.

I am 90% sure I will be there - my son is rowing in Boston on Saturday. Can't bring the 6 unless it is on a flat bad. I may be arriving in a 91 XJ6.

Paul,

Good News...Bad News!

 Good News first....my son Tom's North Kingstown team beat Bishop Hendricken in the RI State High School Lacrosse semi-finals on Wednesday this week and advance to the finals. The final was scheduled for Sunday about 6:00pm at RI College so Brit's by the Sea was definitely on the cards for both cars and drivers.

:wall: Bad News...NK have a senior athlete appreciation dinner scheduled for that evening so the final game has been rescheduled for 1:00 pm Sunday! doh!

We have fond memories of the event last year...rain was threatened all day but never came. We had the pleasure of meeting Bill(Kodanja) and his charming wife. Those of you making the trip I'm sure will have a great day and for those who have not been there before it really is a great location for the show. The Ct MG club did a great job last year.

We'll miss you guys. Enjoy the kids accomplishments while you can. The cars and shows will be there after this is all of the school events.

Now if Bill could only get those bolts loose on the booster.....

tonight I have to finish it!!!! :wall:

the car is gunna be filthy cuz Im not sure ill have time to clean it...

I just wanna drive it :driving:

Waterford, CT weather forecast is now up to 70 and mostly sunny. Providence, RI is for 75 and sunny, so it looks like we're catching a break for this one.

That sounds really nice. Only 120 miles from NYC too. Can anyone recommend a nice non-15-lane-SUV-filled-highway route to get up there?

Cheers, Gavin
