It kind of reminds me of a radio call that went out last year. Apparently, someone was vandalizing some of the police cruisers in the Germantown district of Montgomery County by loosening their lug nuts. The patrol sergeant (a female) wanted to make sure her officers made sure their cruisers were safe, so the dispatcher broadcast "Per Sgt (name?), all officers need to check their nuts." The Sergeant was mortified.

Well, since you brought that up, in today's paper it was reported that a police station
under renovation had all the toilets stolen. They are investigating but the police have
nothing to go on.
