Marine Park, Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, Mass.
September 29th, 30th and October 1st 2006

Several years ago, I attended one of the fall events at the MG museum in Westminster, Vermont. This was a perfect way to end the summer strolling around the grounds looking at all the rare MG’s at the museum. At that time, there were few late season British Car event where folks could enjoy their British automobile one last time before the colder weather arrived in New England. In the fall of 2000, four British Car enthusiasts decided to form the Cape Cod British Car Club over a pint or two of beer at a local pub in Falmouth.

There are a number of single Marque clubs in the New England area, but the Cape was lacking in cruises and events. Once the enthusiasm for the club grew, we decided to hold our major club event on a September/October weekend, trying to revive a lost tradition. Since that time, the club has grown to over 250 members with varying interests from pre-war Rolls Royce’s to Ford Anglia’s, to Austin Devon’s as well as the more popular British Sporting Cars. The interest continues to grow, in both the club and the British Legends Weekend.

Please join us for a weekend of events that the whole family of British Car enthusiasts can enjoy.

It was absolutely great! Weather was just perfect for a top down day riding along the seacoast villages of New England. What a British car run they planned. We drove nearly 90 miles on the run from the starting point in New Bedford to one winery in MA and on to another in RI and it was a ball. Pictures are here: https://www.74tr6.com/cccbccphoto.htm

Come join us in Falmouth at the end of the month! Great people and great cars. Not many tourists at the Cape at that time of the year either.
