Here are some photos of British cars at Supercar Sunday, last Sunday obviously...

(Supercar Sunday is a weekly cruise-in just north of LA)

What is the first picture?

Sunbeam Alpine

they all look great!

Sigh California - December :cryin:

I don't think I have ever seen an Alpine with the hood up

Correct, an Alpine (an early one, not the later "series" car). Unfortunately someone shoehorned a Chevy small block with auto trans in the poor thing. Another guy in the area has two of them he's restoring to original so it should all balance out.

Yeah, the old location got shut down by a really stupid and slightly evil landlord. The new location is only about a mile and a half away. It's better in every respect - more parking, nicer location, etc.

Is this different than 'cars 'n coffee' that was at the Mazda office?

Thanks for the heads up Steve. I would have hated going to the old location. I found the new spot online.

What IS the green car in the photo before the two-tone Rolls?

Looks like a Triumph GT6, but I know from a previous comment that it is (apparently) not.

Kinda looks like a replica of the Le mans GT6, not sure.

The green car is the Frankentriumph, a project in progress by a friend of mine. It's a Spitfire chassis, GT6 roof and the rest is custom. Sort of a LeMans Spitfire Coupe thing.

I like it.
