I've tried to make this one for the past several years, but have had conflicts come up. This year it's scheduled for Palm Sunday weekend, so I'm out again!

Reports from folks who have been have been wonderful. If you have the chance, don't miss it. I'll make it some day!

I will be at the car show in New Orleans. This is my club's annual event, wouldn't miss it for the world. Check out <bmcno.org> for details. The show itself is Saturday, March 19. We had 140 cars two years ago, 130 this last year. Expect a really good turnout this year. Your location is listed as LA. Is that Louisiana or Los Angeles?
The show is not really a swap meet, there are some vendors there, often with an array of good used parts, but not from the attendees. The judging for all cars is popular scoring, the Jag people have their separate judging (concours, you know) off to the side. We had 16 cars in my class alone last year (TR6). Ahem, I won first place. They are gunning for me. So, if indeed you are a Louisiana boy, you should come on over. And Mickey, you can't find a sub for Mass? Really, this is a car show! Guess not, huh?

If it weren't Palm Sunday, or close enough to drive home Saturday evening, I could get down there.

When the club first advertised the show, they had it scheduled for Easter Sunday. I brought that to their attention, and they changed it... Oh well - maybe next year. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I am a Louisiana boy transplant (only since 2001) but glad to be here in the well kept secret of LA, the total and all sports State.

I have no wonder that you were FIRST place with the picture I saw of all those louvers; beautiful car all over. I will be in my 'burb' as the TR6 is in Atlanta. Hope to see you there and you can count on my vote if I make the show.
