Curious if anyone will be in attendance. I know this is not to far for the good Dr, and i thought i have seen some other central Fl folks who may make a day of this event.

It's being held at a different place as last year (not as nice IMO) but should still be a good turnout.

Hope to see some forumers out there, so i can pick your brains in person!
(Mmmm, brains)

I attended last years' event, and will likely be at this one too. Still no LBC on the road so I'll be slopin about as a part of the Lot Lizard crowd. Tyre kickin'. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Doc, that good looking B not running??

You're welcome to come see it here, Rob! Not tagged/insured yet as I've still got work to do on it, but soon now... very soon.

I attended last year’s event; it was a good turnout even though the weather forecast was not the best and was it hot. The weather this year looks like it’s going to be fantastic. I plan on participating this year as well.

HIYA JON!!! 'Bout TIME ya stuck yer nose in here!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

Have a couple of 1st-place throphies from two different locations for the show in the past few years, but I don't think it's going to be in the plan this year. I haven't bothered to get the car ready anyway. Showers in thunderstorms in the forecast for Sat morning - hope they stay away for the show.

Weather is "iffy" at this point, but I'll likely be there just to "sniff". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The weather report from Monday made Saturday look like it was going to be perfect. The closer we get to the weekend more it looks like R*#* is in the forecast for Saturday Morning. I will go just the same but not sure what vehicle to take.

One wot don't LEAK!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

P'raps we need to "circle th' wagons" and make a ~plan~!!!

well, rain or shine, i will be taking the car that has seats in it. (i.e. not the MG /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif )

The weather held out! a very nice morning indeed.
Got to see John's MG in person, it is beuatiful.

(Don't let him try and tell you it isn't)

I didn't get to see Doc, but i did look at enough interiors that i have now decided which way to go.

oops, didn't mean to make it sound like a big secret.

Being in Florida basically made 2 decisions for me, it wasn't going to be black, and it wasn't going to be leather.

Too hot, and a little too wet to go with the extra cost.

so of course it will be the Moss tan interior kit, vinyl.

but now i just realized a new decision:
Autom Leaf or Light Tan.

I think i want the light tan, but i am assuming that light tan is lighter then autumn leaf.

I don't like assumptions...

can anyone verify this? I know i should just order the samples from Moss, but I know that i want the lighter of the two and that i was just staring at one of them this morning.

We got there after noon, didn't see Jon's car, missed you guys. RATS!

DID see some neat LBC's, have some pic's 'Smits took and I'll post shortly. LOTS of B's with DFG Webers. The turnout was HALF or less of what it was last year, too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

TWO "wedges" was the total. One 7 and one 8. But there was a dear Triumph saloon... was original inside and out! A bit "tatty" but it's fifty years old. And a Lotus Elise in white. A MUCH better color than those neon "FIND THE OFF-SWITCH FOR TH' PAINTJOB!" colors.

is replying to yourself the 21st centuray version of talking to yourself?

Here are a few pics i took today, of course my battery died just as i was getting a good shot of john's B /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Glen's outfit did the work on that A coupe. I was impressed with the work under the bonnet. Very well done car.

I think that roll bar is tooooooo high, looks like it needs a radar antana on it.
