Sunday, Sept.9th. How many are going? Maybe a good idea to put "BCF" on our registration cards so we can meet forum members.

Wish I could go. I grew up in Blue Island and worked in all of the Palos areas when in high school. Haven't been back in many years.

Great Tom! Weather is going to be nice and I know you'll have a good time!... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

How many BFC members are in the greater Chicago area? A gathering of some type would be great! I am out of town Sunday and my Mini is ill at the moment. I would be interested in a Chicagoland BFC Chapter meeting. Do we have area/regional chapters? Enquiring minds want to know.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Re: British Car Festival, Palos Hills, IL

No region chapters at all, but this could be the first. The first chapter of the BCF to be established, has a nice ring to it.....I half-suspect that the guys in California have beaten us to it, though

I am close enough to the Windy City to make a get-together, Baz is out southwest in Springfield, William is in Chicago, and of course there's RomanH and TR_Jim. Tom (Tomshobby) is in Madison, straight shot down through Beloit for him. Make it somewhere interesting, like Woodstock or Long Grove, IL. We'd get enough, I should think.

Re: British Car Festival, Palos Hills, IL

Hey...I'm up for a trip in my Mustang roadster (hehehe)...

Re: British Car Festival, Palos Hills, IL

Well...it's got roll up windows so it's really not a roadster.

I'd really like to go...I've kinda been planning on attending but my wife had a little medical problem last nite and she's spending 8 hours in the hospital today getting a blood transfusion...kinda unexpected. I'll see how she fells tonite before I decide if we'll make the trip.

Re: British Car Festival, Palos Hills, IL

Hope your wife is OK. Technically neither is our 6. But most people would not know that.

Car is cleaned, gassed, and checked over. We are getting our things ready and will pack tonight. Will probably leave around 5-5:30am and take some roads other than I90/94. Probably 51/39 and Illinois 30.
