Finally, not an engine issue!

I was hoping that someone here could point me to an article that I cannot seem to find any longer. I had once seen a family tree for all of the British cars, now I need to find it again?

This may be the picture you're thinking of:

There is a link to more (mostly MGB) ~HERE~ :

Thanks,

Yes, that is the one I was looking for!

interesting map, but a few missing: Aston, Lotus, Bently, etc.

It's badly titled, as what it really is, is the family tree of BMC/Leyland/Rover, and threfore only has companies that were part of what ended up as the Rover group.

Thats why Aston, Lotus, Bentley, Healey, Rolls Royce, Rootes group etc etc aren't there.

Sad to see so many dead ends in a family tree. And it's reflected in the English Midlands where the wind blows rubbish across the empty spaces and shopping malls where the car factories were !

I have drawn it up in Autocad and plotted it on 2'x3' paper to mount on a board. I figure it will be a part of my presentation at car shows for the uninformed!
