Just back from British car day here near Toronto.........The usual over 1000 cars appeared.......Happy to report My 1948 Rover 75 made the some 60 mile journey on the expressway there and back trouble free and kept up with most of the traffic......albeit the slower traffic LOL...........I will in future take the 2000TC to that event.......Much more a highway machine but the 48 was a major hit at the show and kept me in conversations the whole day long with people who remmember them, parents had them, their relatives had them LOL you know the scenario......anyway we had a great time and even won a prize......I /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif highly recomend the show as it is one of the largest single day British Car events in North America.........

Hi Rovernut! I didn't speak to you, pretty busy at registration desk most of the day, but did notice and admire your car.
I must confess to a soft spot for the P6, a very advanced car in its day, and a lot more classy than many more common cars of the era, though now they all seem to fetch about the same kind of money, which seems odd.
Glad you enjoyed the show; I thought the food was much better this year.
Simon.
