British Car Day Larz Anderson

If the weather clears out for sunday, the wife and I plan on going. Last time I went was in 05. Nice well run show.

I'll be there but very bummed, without my car, It's going into Erik's shop on Tuesday to have work done on it. On the positive side though I decided to take the opportunity, while it's in Erik's shop, to have a Quantum Mechanic's overdrive installed at the same time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll have it back for Day of Triumph.

Checked the weather and they're predicting a good day for Sunday. Partly Sunny and in the 70's.

I just had a change of schedule, so I can't make it. Now I'm bummed about that and that your car is heading into the shop. I hope that the problem is minor, but I can tell you that you will LOVE the OD.

If Erik has the parts, I'm sure you'll have it for DOT.

Not a huge problem with the car, the clutch is slipping badly, so it's undriveable. Erik thinks it's probably a problem in the hydraulics. I also have a persistent engine oil leak that Erik's going to track down for me. The biggest job will be getting the new tranny & OD installed.

For anybody that missed Brit Car Day at Larz Anderson there were two Triumphs that really stood out. There was an absolutely immaculate low S/N (604) long door TR2 that was gorgeous. And a TR250 that that was also a work of art, the owner had installed the high HP PI system.

That 250 is stunning. I hope that it's at Day of Triumph.
