British brake hydraulic fittings?

I have a question. I ordered a new clutch master cylinder from moss and my old line fitting wont fit. My old one had a 1/4 inch line and this one appears to be for a 3/16 inch line. What type of fitting is this? I mean the flare swivel nut for the line. Is it US standard or some special British type? I remember reading somewhere that the British ones were longer and the flared end was different than US types, but I don't know for sure what I have. I just figured the new one would fit right in. I have to make up a new line anyway because of the datsun clutch cylinder that I am using with the adapted transmission. I just don't know what fitting to buy or where to buy it. Its time to get moving on this thing again and the little stuff keeps holding me up. Here's a picture with the front end up in the air before I finished getting all the old paint off and painting the underneath once I had redone all the suspension.

It is a british pipe fitting but it is available in lengths up to 60" from most auto parts stores.
Up to 67 it was a 3/16" pipe, 68 on used a 1/4" pipe on the clutch.

victoria british i believe.....i used a fitting for the water on a fridge though....it was just lying around and fit perfect ; )

the one on ebay appears to be correct..better buy it NOW! ; ) ..........zzzziiiimmmmy

So you just made a seal with the threads? I thought it had to seal with the tubing pinched in a flare. I got plenty of standard brass pipe fittings, I will look around before buying an adapter. I don't understand why I need an adapter I just need the male flare nut for the tubing.

ooopps....correction....that looks like the fitting for the CLUTCH....not the brake...sorrry ,got my master cylinders mixed up....goood luck
