The British Bash has hit several new records and the BSCC club members wish to share these milestones with their fellow British sports car enthusiasts.

1. This years event has exceeded 100 cars pre-registered before April. In fact we are well over 100 cars! This is a new record.
2. A 1938 Drophead MG Tickford, a first from our records, has entered the event all the way from Kansas!
3. The first ever AC design Cobra’s have entered in the Bash. From the original English AC Bristol design these cars represent a a historic period of English design.
4. We have our first entry ever for the Bash Poster contest, from Mike Ross in Ohio. Thanks Mike!
5. Over 20% of the entries are new to the Bash!

Please spread the word and join our BSCC club members for our 2 day all British Bash and enjoy the great benefit of Pre-Registering as well. Register before April 20 to get your Bonus Pack! https://www.britishbash.com The registration form to enter is available to print 24/7 on the website as well the site has schedules, poster contest details and lots more.

The BSCC club members thank you for your support of the British Bash!

Only 14 more days to receive the early registration bonus.

There are now over 150 preregistered, and the goal for this year is over 300 cars on the field on the day of show.

Thanks to everyone who have helped the BSCC break the highest pre-registration record in the BSCC British Bash’s 23 year history!

With still 4 days to go to enter until the Bonus pre-registration ends, we have already surpassed the previous record of 188 pre-registered cars. This is the largest pre-registration record in the 23 years the event has been held! The name list and class list on our website are updated through yesterday.

It’s still not too late to enter and still receive the bonus pack, though come Thursday if it is not posted marked it will be too late. Forms schedules and more are on the website at... https://www.britishbash.com/

The stats are outstanding! Last years show had 188 cars pre-register and 256 cars day of show. This year we have 246 pre-registered (58 car increase over 2006) and very well expect to exceed 300 day of show based on prior years registration percentages.

Record Pre-Registration: This years BSCC British Bash broke the previous record of 188 cars and has marked a 23% growth over that record for a total of 246 cars pre-registered!

Record level of new cars entered: This years BSCC British Bash has 69 new cars entered and never shown before at the Bash. A pre-registration record!

Highest retention: The cars participating and supporting the BSCC British Bash hit an all time high this year. 177 of the 188 pre-registered last year came back again for 2007.

REGISTRATION is still open! It is still not to late to enter! If you pre-register prior to May 15 you can skip the registration line at the show and have your show space already pre-assigned to you. So there is a great advantage to enter early and allow yourself more time to enjoy the show. Entry forms are available on our website... https://www.britishbash.com

WINNER: Congratulations are in order as a winner for the 2007 Bash Poster contest has been chosen.

RECORD: We are just one away from all an all time record for registration in the 2007 BSCC British Bash. We are at 255 with last years record being 256, though 46 of those showed up day of show to enter. With approximately 2 weeks to go and day of show registration still to come we should see a record year for the Bash.

ONE WEEK LEFT: You can still enter now to avoid the day of show registration line, there is only one week left to do so, forms and info are online to enter.

Details on the poster winner, cars entered and entrants is on the website... https://www.britishbash.com

See ya there this weekend!
I'll try to post a link to pictures later in June.

The TR8 engine's still at the machine shop /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif - and lots of other stuff to keep me here this weekend. So, I'll miss this one. Was looking forward to the possibility, but c'est la vie!

"Maybe next year..."

We had 300 cars and great weather for Friday evening and most of Saturday. An isolated rain shower got everyone wet during awards, but most everyone seemed happy. The band was good, there were great door prizes, the food and beer was plentiful. The free cake was my favorite flavor. There was plenty of shade and interesting cars and people. Everyone should mark your calendars for next year.

Oh, and Mickey, there were 4 or 5 TR8's.

Gee, thanks! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

Wish I'd been there. Still waiting on the engine from the shop. Maybe this coming week...

Hey Trevor; Great show, the most organized show I have ever been to. There had to be 30 or more volunteers doing whatever it took. Moving the awards up because of the rain (good idea). The picture is taken in my 58 TR3A with Berry Schonberger’s 1956 TR3 in front we drove on and off thru the rain for the next hour and a half back to Evansville. I don’t know why, but I had this stupid grin most of the way!

Glad you liked it. I didn't do too much this year. I sort of stepped out of the way and let other folks step up to the plate. And, except for a few small glitches, everything went off as planned. I'm not sure if moving the awards up kept us any drier, but at least we didn't have to stand around all soggy for an extra 45 minutes.

I'd like for use to have time at the awards to say the year/model/color of the car during the awards to help people place the car with the owner.

I always have a stupid grin on my face when driving my LBC through the rain. I think it reminds me of playing in the rain as a kid.

See ya there next year? First Saturday in June is the 24th annual British Bash!

Nice pics, Trevor. Of the 200, were there any Daimlers?? I tried to find the '07 entrants on the website but could only get '08 or '06...and no class V.
Just curious. Looks like the show was well received.

No Daimlers... that I remember. Planning a road trip next year?

IF the 849 car is ever finished, we plan to travel in it quite a bit. I'm looking at either a cycle trailer or 1/2 a spridget made into one to give us the needed room for travel trinkets and perhaps a spare part or 2. Your Louisville show is the kind of event we want to make part of a couple weeks on the road. Glad '07's turnout was record setting.
