Last year I think there was about 250+ cars.
Great food, local micro brew beer, music, and this year they'll be a few drives as well.

Featured marque is Healey (Austin, Nash, Jensen, or just plain old Healey)

Lots of nice trophies and plenty of shade trees on the lawn of St. Joseph Children's Home (the club bases its donation to St. Joseph's based on event revenue).

Registering early saves you $5 per car and you get a "Premium Deluxe highly collectible dash Plaque", and 50% a really cool event T-shirt.

Deadline for early registration is May 3rd. More info and registration forms can be found https://www.britishbash.com

See ya there?

Hey, if any BCFers are going to this, do me a favor...get some standard business card stock at your local Office Depot or where ever, and pring a stack of BCF info cards to hand out at the event! If I can somehow get my Spit running by then I'd love to attend myself.

Go HERE to print the cards (pdf file set up to print 10 to a sheet).

Boss, you're such a pushover!

I would've charged 'em double!

Does that mean that if I attend that you'll refund
my membership fee?

We will be updating the website as entries arrive so that you can see the type of cars that have preregistered. Should a class become too crowded we'll find a means to further divide it. For example: If we have a bunch of Midgets/Sprites, we might divide them between rubber bumper and chrome bumper.

Update about the drives. There will be two cruises. The first, Friday night, will start at a Bowman Field (old airport) and wind through a historic and scenic Olmstead park ending at the show field for "pub" night with live music and other fun. (Maybe a "most bugs on the grill" contest?). The second, Saturday after the show, will leave the show field and follow a quiet winding route to a local Dairy Queen for some cool treats to get you the sugar buzz you need before heading home.

Hey Trevor, Yes it is a great show, I thought there were closer to 300 cars last year. Here's a picture of me in my TR3 following Barry Schonberger's 56 TR3 in the rain. What's funny about that is the stupid smile I had driving in the rain for an 2 hours. Barry and I were soaking wet by the time we got home.

Glad you like the show.

I looked at the database. You are correct. There were closer to 300 cars. Sorry about the weather. Those "popcorn" showers are strange. I live about 5 miles from the event, and did not get one drop of rain.

The event is upcoming this weekend. Details (including a list of almost 200 preregistered cars) can be found at www.britishbash.com

You guys know how to put on a show! I'd be there, if I didn't have a prior commitment. (Work sure does get in the way, doesn't it? :frown: )

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make our show this year because of a scheduling error on my part. I'm quite bummed. There are always a great bunch of cars.
