We need your help!

Cash donations to the British American Deviant Automotive Sportscar Society can now be made via PayPal to:

Please indicate "B A D A S S Donation" in the subject line of your correspondence.

All proceeds go to the building and maintenance of this big-block Buick powered MGB/GT. Have you got $10, $20, $50, $100 to spare to help get this project on the road? Your donation ***could*** also be tax deductable.

This low-budget, group effort of British-American engineering of a high performance sportscar by professional and amatuer mechanics could use a financial shot in the arm...and YOU can help!

If you are not familiar with this project, you can follow its process here:

Thanks in advance for your assistance....

Chairman Rick,

I am sorry that Obama's stimulus plan doesn't include B A D A S S.

I did notice you are from Illinois too.

Good luck in your project, and do include pictures of your progress.

Cheers,

We were, too. :frown:

And, we had planned on going to Buick (GM) to see if they would want to assist in this project. That's now out the window.

BTW...this is not my sole project. This is a joint effort of over a dozen enthusiasts to date.

There are a LOT of pictures imbedded in the 33 or so pages of updates on this Big Block Buick MGB/GT to be found at:

This is a real car...and we hope to have it be running (although not road worthy)at British V8 this summer (June)in Raleigh, NC. Attached is a photo of the first GT shell we had with the engine in place. The blue shell we are now using can be seen behind the green shell on which most of the preliminary engineering work was done.

The engine is a 455 Buick, attached to a BW T5 transmission. An IRS Jaguar differential transmits power to the rear rubber.

We are incorporated as a Not-For-Profit organization, worded such that it is an educational project...hence the possibility of a tax deduction. (Standard disclaimer - ask your tax accountant first).

When finished, the car will be shown throughout the United States by individuals who have supported the project. It will then be sold and the proceeds donated to charity.

No, it is not your typical MG....but it is in the spirit that Cecil Kimber began the M.G. car heritage.

Safety/Faster!
