Well it is official Susan Boyle took second place on the show. Would have been nice to see her win.---Keoke

I think all the hype may have caused a backlash with the voters. I still expect she has more potential for a marketable career. Let's see how she does if she releases a CD.

I think what happens here is that folks that would vote for Susan over the group that won, only vote once. The teeners and tweeners that aren't into the Susan Boyle's of the world, vote for their favorite, not once, but hundreds of times apiece. I'm sure the same thing happened on American Idol. The teeners and tweeners went for the uncontroversial pretty boy Kris Allen over Adam Lambert...the one with the real talent.

If Susan wants to, she will still do well.

Even though she didn't win, she is now in the public spotlight and someone will likely give her a shot at something.

Susan will be well off if she so chooses! I have heard she already has a million dollar contract offer!

As crazy as it sounds I rather enjoyed the "Stavro Flatley" father and son routine (of course I do have a personal prejudice!). They certainly made everyone laugh!! :laugh:

Well, the latest news is that Susan was hospitalized after a breakdown!!!
