Nice car but too much polish for my liking. It certainly is not a 1962 though. Probably registered as a 1962.
 
crikey! that's _way_ too much chrome!!! would take me all year to polish all that only to have to start over again from the beginning!
 
My favorite is the "no step" logo on the carbon fibre floor! Kinda scary if you think about it. I bet it's a real handfull tho.

I'd probably have to paint the top of the bonnet at least - Yellow sounds good.

That is NO casual ride. '89 chassis, and the "rulez" don't allow title after '67 so yes, Bruce it ain't a '62. But it ~could~ be put onna streets as a '62... ohmygawd.

With the list and photos of what is on that thing, the reserve could justifiably be $60K, easily!

It's because of the Cossy that I said it's probably a handfull. It is pretty, and should have the stink driven out of it by a really great driver... Then painted and driven somemore, the restored, and driven alot more, then driven and driven somemore! hehheehehehe
 
I may be able to count on one hand the folk who'd be able to use that *thing* to it's capacity... I ain't one of 'em, neither.... not that I'd refuse a ride /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
 
The floors should be aluminum too... That Carbon Fibre will start seperating the first time it's scratched or gets wet. I've had 6 Carbon chassis'ed R/C cars, and they start de-laminating after about a month of normal use. That's about the only other thing I'd change.

Oh, and I'd volunteer to drive it in an open area for several hours... It's like my boat... I've been told MY boat will teach me more about sailing than a big cruiser... This car would teach you more (in a forgiving area to drive in) than you'd ever want to know about driving a car... And if you survive, you'll be a much better driver 'cause of it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
 
Yeah, I ascribe to the: "Get the best tools possible first time out" as well. But that thing is a Formula car. I've already had time in those and KNOW it's a steep curve. Bending it is NOT an option. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
