Wedge Breaking Into a Trunk Boot

Hello Everyone,
I found a needed trunk boot lid for my '81 TR8 BUT the seller does not have the key. Is there a way to open the trunk w/o the key? Looking forward to your replies and THANK YOU. Joel
 
Assuming you cannot get access through the back of the cockpit area of a TR8....You may need a locksmith, they have tools for such problems...or otherwise drill out the keyway and then buy a new lock.
 
... Or learn to pick locks yourself. These locks are quite crude and easy to pick; lots of videos on YouTube.
