Brass manifold nuts?

I just removed my manifolds and will be putting them back on with stainless hardware. Is there any reason why I should use brass nuts rather than the stainless? The brass ones are only fifty cents but shipping costs detract from my interest in them.
 
How about stainless w/ never seize? I have factory steel nuts on my 1500 and I never have to worry about them seizing as I'm always having to retighten my loose manifold.
 
Not really all that necessary on the manifold, in my opinion. Where they really shine is on the manifold to exhaust flange on the later cars. And I use never seize on everything.

It doesn't matter, I know some folks who like to use the brass long barrel nuts, just because they easier to get a wrench on, being longer and all. I always just use grade 8 hex nut and split washers on the race cars, this is not a fastner than normally gets stuck, I've never any trouble getting them off, even old engines. On my rebuilt engines I always get new stud and nut kit from Gordon at the B Hive, and they come with new white zinc plated studs and brass nut, so all my engine rebuilds get the brass nuts
 
Miss Agatha is using 50 some year old brass nuts, no problems.
