Brakes sticking

The brakes act like they are locked. It is not the emergancy brakes as the cables are notconnecetd. Drove fine today but when I came to a stop, they locked up. Was able to slowly drive it home but whenever I lifted my foor off the gas pedal it would come to a stop. Drums were warm afterwards but not hot and you could smell that sweet smell of warm brake lining. Where do I start and what is the mostlikely cause of this?

I would suggest that the most likey cause is one (or both) of the slave cylinders on the rear sticking, and not retracting properly.

HI Tschoon, I would begin by replacing the rubber brake lines. You might start with the rear one first.---Fwiw---Keoke

I agree with Keoke. the flexible pipes when they deteriorate can stop the fluid returning after you have braked.
Good opportunity to fit some aeroquip hoses.
