Well I bled the brakes over the weekend with a vaccum bleeder, now they feel better than ever. This time while I was under there I had some more time to inspect the lines and such. From what I saw, I'm a little worried.
First: On the union where the brake lines split from the master to all of the individual lines, there's a big plastic nipple. What's supposed to be connected to it? I don't have a picture right now to help.
Second: My front two brake lines are both different. The drivers side is some sort of braded line (not stainless). The passenger side is rubber coated with a braded interior line. Which one is the orginal?
Third: Did you notice that I know the interior line construction? There are quite a few major cracks in the rubber coating. This line needs to go.
What options do I have here? I'm guessing I'll replace all three brake lines just as insurance. Is this enough?
Ben
