Brake shoes

Has anyone had a problem with brake shoes dragging before they "break in"? Is there,,,,, a time in which they need to drag a little until they work correctly?
Here is what I am thinking:
Readjust shoes as far out as possible. Check the drag and work them in until all is well. Yeah, and I need to bleed again!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif I am sick of bleeding these brakes!

I do it a little differently,
set them in all the way, then bleed and then adjust them out till they just *barely* drag.

And be sure to stomp on the brake peddle after you adjust them and them check for drag again- usually that frees them up so you can tighten them another click or two before drag.

I seem to have the problem worked out. I was a combination of things. The main source of the drag was both backing plates were bent. I re-bled with them adjusted all the way out and adjusted them to were I think they should be. Hopefully all is well now.
