Brake Rotors

Some time ago I purchased some new brake rotors for my GT6 from an ebay sale. The rotors are AP Lockheed Part # 1117 001 still in the original packaging. Well today I tried to fit them and . . . they don't fit! :cryin: The outside diameter and thickness seem right but the center hole is a little large and the mounting bolt holes do not line-up. Does anyone know what these rotors fit?

he part number on the box says AP Lockheed Part # 1117 001. The rotors are stamped "Made in England" and VB2

Some guys on another board are guessing TR6, and that is my suspicion as well. I have emailed AP Racing to see if they can give me the application (Gotta know before I can re-sell them and get the correct ones)

Good catch Andy! The diameter is 9 5/8" and the thickness is 1/2". The bolt circle on the discs is 3 3/4", but that is for the disc's "integrated bell" to the hubs, not the wheel studs. The email to AP got an automated out of the office until 7 July.

Well, I heard back from AP Racing and the said "Try AP Braking, originally known as Automotive Products / Lockheed brakes." So I emailed them and they replied "I am afraid you need to contact Delphi Lockheed." So I went to their UK website and they don't have email contact info. So I emailed the US Delphi contact and I'll wait to see if they reply. (Of course the US Delphi site doesn't even mention brakes, just electronics systems)

Well I finally heard back from Delphi:

"According to our records, your needs can be met by a Delphi/Lockheed BG26 rotor, suitable for 66 - 74 Triumph GT6 and 66 - 71 Triumph Vitesse. Regrettably, we do not have the resources to conclusively identify your current material. From our records, the initial part information that you provided is not recognized as authentic AP/Lockheed (independent of existing part packaging/labeling) and is therefore not currently cataloged." :wall: I have already searched extensively on the web with no luck at all.

I guess I need to find someone with an old AP Lockheed "dead trees" catalog who can try to look them up.
