What's the verdict on semi-metallic pads? Are they worth it? Thinking of ordering a set from Moss. Should I just go with the standard OEM ones?

I've had good luck with whatever you get at the local chain. Cheap, and they last fine for the mileage I see (even with autocross).

For the record, I bought CarboTech pads for the racer (almost $100) plus new Brembo rotors.
They didn't seem that much better than the $30 "sport" pads at Moss and my old worn rotors.
For a street car, I'm sure the pads at your local auto store are fine.

Grab a rattle-can of Permatex "anti-squeal" while you're there, too. One can is a "lifetime supply" for most folks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
