I was stripping down the brake master cylinder on the FreeSpit this weekend. I got the piston out fine, but there appears to be a second piston in the bottom of the cylinder for the rear brakes (Its the dual cylinder). But it doesn't just come out. Does this thing need to come out and if so, how? I've looked at the VB catalog and they don't show anything else it in cylinder.

Brake master cylinder query

A bit of compressed air should get it out, or you could try simply banging the cylinder on a wood block until that force (and gravity) bring the bits to the opening.
