Brake Line Picture for BE?

Looking for a picture that shows how that brake line routes from the tri-brake line connector on the right hand side of the engine compartment to the front brake left hand(drivers)
side.

I took it off in a hurry and didn't take a picture.

thanks...

Bruce, I don't have any pictures, but here was my response to the same question when it came up awhile back. There weren't any pictures on that thread, either.

From the union it drops down and angles fwd parallel to the shock mount, inboard of the shock. It then drops below the rack, about even with the front edge of the rack, on the top side of the crossmember. It crosses over, under the steering column, comes back up, and follows the plane of the shock mount rearward, inboard of the shock. Once past the shock it turns and mates with the union to the hose.
I hope you can make some sense out of that. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Jeff...thanks for the description. I figure with enough beer I'll be able to fit the line the correct way!!

Seriously...heading out to the garage now.

Not too much beer, Bruce, or you may find your brakes applying when you hit the clutch! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Jeff,
Yes I did. I had my wife hold the brake line in position while I twisted the car around it. LOL

Between your directions and a partial photo I found on the website I managed to install it. PITB! But it's in. Might not be exactly the same but its study and safe.

Thanks again.

Bruce, I don't think I have anything disassembled far enough right now to get any good pictures of that area. When I do, I'll take some reference photos for the next time that question comes up. And it will.
Glad you were successful.
Jeff
