What are yall using for brake fluid? I'm thinking it's time for a change in the 140. Brake lines run a bit too close to the headers (I'm planning to have them jet-hot coated as well), and the brakes start getting spongy after a while.
I think I have a Valvoline Dot 4 brake fluid in it now, but it's several years old. Just wondering what the "good stuff" is these days.
 
I happen to like Castrol LMA.....it has a DOT4 rating, relatively inexpensive, compatible with all brake "rubber parts" and a high wet and dry boiling point.

Keep the brake lines at least 3" away from exhaust if there is airflow..no airfow = more clearance.

"""""several years old. """""" should flush the system every 2 years or so. Sounds like a "two canner" to me.
