brake drums painted

I believe black is typically viewed as the correct color (and, in my opinion, looks best with wire wheels).

Use a hi-temp paint in any case.

P.S. The TRA concours manual states black was usual. Do you need/want a copy of said manual? I can send one as a PDF attachment.

I agree with Geo, satin black is the best color for stock drums, if going for an original look, and hi-temp paint is a must.

However, I think Alfin drums might have been left raw aluminum colored, just on the outside chance you've got a set on your car. I sprayed the Alfins on my car with satin clear hi-temp paint.
