I would try World Wide Auto Parts before Apple. Just personal preference - no financial connection to either business. World Wide did all four of my 100-6 shocks and I can vouch for the quality of the work. I'm not even sure they do calipers, but I would check before sending them anywhere else.

Good Luck,

Hello Skip, about 4 years ago I restored a '74 Midgit and the calipers were such a rusted chunk that I just had to buy new ones. At the time Moss could not supply the right side caliper so I got the left from Moss and the right one from Victory British. Those brakes have been trouble free to this day and the price was near the same as having another shop rebuild almost/or worthless calipers. Over a year ago I was putting my BJ7 into running condition, I pulled all the hydralic components (brake and clutch) from the car and sent them to White Post Restorations in Virginia. They are a complete restoration shop who have a history of top end restoration from all over the world and they remachine and 'brass sleeve' all the hydralic parts they put into there restorations. So every hydralic part on my Healey is brass sleeved... except one part. There was considerable trouble with the brake master cylinder. Ultimately i gave up on it and bought a new one from Moss. I have had no trouble since.

If Apple does calipers like they do shocks, save yourself alot of aggravation.
New calipers are available from World Wide Auto Parts at very reasonable prices. Email Peter <nosimpot@mailbag.com>
