Brake booster

Who did you send the brake booster to for a rebuild? BTW, I can't figure out how the booster on the XK150 (roadster) works. It is certainly different from the American cars I worked on, the crazy BMW system that I struggle with and my TR6 (which is like the common American type). Can it be explained a a few words?

XKs did the one for my 150 roadster and it gave me great service. I drove the car almost daily for three years and never had a brake problem. The catch is it's expensive to have done. Keep in mind though brakes keep you from hitting everything in site. A brake failure can be very, very expensive.

I have not had a chance to check with XK U's but looking through some ads I see Apple Hydrolics wants $395 plus a core charge if there are problems with the core. That's a little pricy for me. I have not seen a White Post ad. I did see an ad for "Booster Dewey" in OR. He did not advertise for the XK150 but had reasonable rates for the XJ's and XKE's. Anybody used this guy in OR?

My Jag MK11 and Daimler Boosters were rebuilt by Power Brake Exchange in San Jose CA.Excellent---Keoke
