Howdy all. I'm planning on purchasing a Revington ligh bar for my 250, and I was curious if anyone could recommend a bracket for mounting the reproduction Lucas driving lamps on the bar. Many thanks as always!

Terrific! Thanks so much! And that is why I love this forum. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Yes, Triple-C is a good choice, about 1 hour West of me in York, PA. I have a couple pair of those adapters and they were out of stock for some time. Triple-C are really nice folks, who travel to the UK a couple of times a year and bring back little goodies for us. Also, be aware that they have one of the best assortments of TR and other LBC models in plastic, die cast and resin.
Go 250's!

Frank -- I love the original alloys you have on your 250. I'm very jealous! I've spent way too much money collecting decent ROstyle hubcaps (and I'm proud to say that I have ten really nice ones and four that could be refurbished some day), but I would give my eye teeth for a nice set of those original alloys! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Hi,

Are you refering to the factory works rally light bar Neil Revington offers (in paintable steel or polished stainless steel, IIRC)? This is the bar that replaces the front bumper entirely.

If so, doesn't it already have mounting brackets for lights?

Or, if it's his newer design (below - the one that's used along with the bumper) it also has the light mounting tabs, doesn't it?

I would think most *light* bars (as opposed to "badge" bars) would incorporate some sort of brackets or tabs for light mounting. Might ask Neil before buying any additional parts.

Haha! I see it now -- you're quite right. I couldn't see it clearly in the photo, but now that I've taken a closer look, I see the tabs. My only excuse is a terrible head cold. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thanks Bill. I had been looking for a set for a number of years while I was slowly restoring the 250. Back in 1984 (I think) I was on a business trip in VA and saw a TR-4 sitting in someone's front yard. It was very rough but had a set of 4 American Racing Silverstones. We negotiated and I ended up having to buy the car to get the wheels. I later put some used wires on the TR-4 and sold it to a friend in Charlotte, NC. I almost recovered my entire investment, but I was lucky.
Good luck with Greenie
