Bought one...

I am now an MGB owner.

I was over looking at the new, 3 car garage a racing pal of mine just built.

In it was his new race car and an MGB he gave to his wife on their wedding day 20 years ago (her initals are "MGB").
They've driven it very little in the last few years and impulsively, he asked me if I wanted to buy it.
Really cheap.
Impulsively, I said "yes".
He threw in 8 alloy race tires (6.5" X 14" with 4X100 bolt circle) with decent, mounted Hoosiers that will fit my racing Escort. Bonus!

I just brought it all home.

It's a white, '69 roadster with wire wheels. Dusty, but very, very nice.
I already have an 1800cc, white roadster ('00 Miata) so I have no need for this car at all.

But who cares!
I've never owned an MGB so this may as well be the time. I'm stoked!

Okay Nial... you're gonna like the torque the B has over the OTHER 1800. And the '69 is still at a point where it can be "retro-lightened" to have the original design's geometry and power, too.

15" original! Only "weird" thing on the '69's is the taller -than normal headrests. It looks to be in VERY good nick!

Nah.

This means the Miata gets to keep it's ~Blizzaks~ on all year round and the MGB becomes the Summer Car /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
