Hey Guest!
My Camera (as do most digital cameras these days) has an amazing auto-focus system. There are 61 auto-focus points across the view finder that will "track" your subject once you place an AF point on the subject. There is a mode on the camera call "AI servo" which allows you to take multiple photos at a fast rate (7 frames per second). Once the AF locks on, you just need to track the subject as it moves through view finder - the camera does the rest. It's pretty cosmic stuff. How do you focus on a moving object like the bird in the second photo?
Here's another of the RoadRunner from different angle. Thanks for sharing. My favorite is still the Roadrunner. They're fun to watch and rarely vocalize - which sound a lot like a morning dove. Oh, and they eat rattlers'. Our N. American version of a viper-eating mongoose.
