Boot Lid Adjustment

I have been noticing that my boot lid on my 77 RB sits higher on the prop side than the other. I am sure there must be some way of adjusting this that I am missing. Could someone please point me in the proper direction. The only thought I have come up with so far is to unbolt the hinge from the body and insert a few shims.

Probably because somebody has bent it when closing & they've bent the lid - piece of 2x4 between it & body usually bends the lid back to its proper shape
