If you already have the hardware and just need the leather renewed, I had my bonnet and end straps redone earlier this week by a local woman. I removed the hardware and brought it to her shop, she furnished new leather and it fit perfectly--she charged about $35 for materials and sewing. Her name is Zelda, her phone is 410/474-2219 and her email is: clwbyz@yahoo.com.
If you do not have an existing strap and the hardware you and want it to look "proper" you might be best off going to a commercial source.
