Bonnet and Boot Badges from Moss

So I got a bonnet and boot badge today I ordered from Moss.

The bonnet badge appears to be plastic; were the originals cloisonné?

The boot badge is die-cast and looks OK, but there is a slight casting flaw that I should be able to easily fix.

The quality of both is somewhat disappointing, but I suppose they will do in case I am unable to source better examples.

Anyone purchase these items from a different supplier and if so, what is your opinion of the reproduction quality?

Thanks!

Bonnet Badge from AH-Spares first rate. Took a week to arrive and $5-6 shipping from across the pond.

Great. I'll send the Moss badge back and order a few things I need from A-H to offset the shipping.

How about the boot badge.

Anyone order one from A-H?

Shipping from AH-Spares is cheaper than from the other mentioned supplier and quicker as well.

I was happy with the shipping time (< week), just not the quality of the product. It could take twice as long and I would be fine were the quality up-to-snuff.

Shipping cost could have been better.

Would someone please post close up pictures of the badges they have gotten from AH Spares. I would liket to see a Sprite winged (square body) badge if someone has one.

Mine from VB looks nice enough but it is new plastic.
