Saw this 2CV parked in downtown Sarasota. I love the wheel pants.

Hmmm... don't recognize that one. Thought I knew most of th' nutters down there. :ROFLMAO:
 
The rear wheel skirts are a common feature on 2CV's, the only wheel that turns is of course the front wheel after all...
 
Wheel pants? I've never heard of fender skirts referred to that way before.

You are right.... it's a common aircraft term that I'm just used to. Basically, they perform the same function.
 
I love it, I think we should all start calling fender skirts wheel pants. It does make a certain sense with an aircraft since they are fenderless.
