What size (length and thread count) are the transmission mount bolts that fit from the bottom of the car?

Don't remember but I know em if I see em.

Must go in with the engine still hanging from the engine hoist is the easy way so you can move the darn thing about a bit and get them started. They are tough to do.

Mine had been in a while, but I noticed while under the car this evening that both are missing!

For my Bugeye with ribbed transmission it uses two 3/8-24 NF x 3-1/2" lg. bolts. The ones from the side are 5/16-24 NF x 1" lg.

The Service Parts List calls for HBZ0626 (3/8" x 3 1/4") and HPZ0505 (5/16" x 5/8")

They are easier to start if they have a 60 degree taper.

Just did mine. 3/8 x 24, 3-1/4" long. It's a bit of an odd length. Didn't have much trouble getting them installed, did it as the engine/transmission combination was going in.

Same bolts for all models but not sure about 1500. Bolts are for tranny mount not tranny so all use the same.
