Body Shop near OC

Good morning good people. The air intake grill is hanging on the hood by a wing and a prayer, looked at it and discovered that the holes on the hood have been rusted out and the nut and washer have nothing to hold on to. For the meantime, I placed a bracket nut but want to have it fixed correctly. Does anyone know of a body shop who will be more familiar in fixing this? I am in Yorba Linda. Thanks in advance. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif

Napoleon,

Below is another picture that shows a welded in panel to replace a badly done dogleg repair. I had a replacement sheetmetal panel that I had bought. Antonio took one look at it and pointed out the edge bead was not like the original. So he shaped a new piece using a planish hammer and cut out the old dogleg to the inside of the bead and welded in the new piece. Hard to see the seam unless you are looking closely.

Antonio is highly qualified but my advice is to get a firm quote before any work starts, especially with a little job like yours where everything is visible. I've seen some people get in over their heads on major panel work/rust repair because the job continues to grow as more and more bad areas are found. And It's good to know the cost of replacement panels as the labor costs can add up quickly.
