body panel seam sealer

I'm looking for recomendations on seam sealer which goes in the joints between wing panels and the interior tub structure. The original factory stuff on my six looked like putty and was still pliable when I removed the wings. Any info on brand and application techniques is appreciated.
 
Napa sells seam sealer in a caulk gun. You'll have to request it, since it's behind the counter. I used this on my TR8 and its really good stuff. Unfortunately, I don't have the part name or number available.
