Body Lift Photos

Chilly and damp so I am trying to learn to figure out how to post photos.
Hopefully you will link to a slideshow of my single man body lift. The lift point seemed to create the least stress on the frame. Without the doors in place you would someother bracing in place.
These project went on hold several years ago and the beige paint was done after a good power wash and proved to hold off additional rust.

Ok I can post a photo, but clearly need to remember to proof read first.

Nice work Cyaker. I also used an engine lift to remove my body tub. I didn't have the engine level device or the slick attachment points you created. I ran lift straps through the rear wheel wells and a front strap through some convenient speaker holes cut in the kick panels. It worked but was a bit unbalanced as the body came free.

Looks good. I also use an engine lift to get the body off the TR3 I'm doing. The nice thing about that, is that it's easy to roll around once it's up in the air. I can bring it outside to do some work on it that would be tough in the small confines of the garage. I have the body braced between the "A" and "B" pillars, and then have a cross brace with a hole in it that I hook the engine hoist to. Without any exterior bolt on panels on, it's perfectly balanced. It also balances pretty well with ALL the panels on. It only becomes a problem when I have say just the rear wings or the front wings attached. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif
