Body Blasting and Mechanical Work

Have had LBC body at shop in southern PA waiting to be soda blasted since before xmas. Anyone know of a competent blaster, that has time to do any work, within a couple hours of north central WV?

Anywhere within a half days drive would work. That means about the DC area west to Columbus or an hour or so north of Pittsburgh. :wall:

Wow... before Xmas... that's a long time to wait.

I just purchased a cheap Eastwood soda blaster, which I immediatly converted back to regular media to blast all the frame components. We plan on doing some soda blasting with it.

I also use my Tax refund to buy a pretty serious Ingersol Rand compressor, capable of 25 CFM to run it.

Mind if I ask what they quoted you for a price?

There is Envirosafe Stripping Inc. located minutes from the I79 Neville Island exit near Pittsburgh.
I know a couple people who had their TRs done there and were happy with the work. They use plastic media. (412)331-0130

Have you used the Eastwood blaster yet? I'm curious how well they work...

Thanks, will inquire as to their workload and pester the guy that has it now. He has some big gov't jobs working on APC's from the Johnstown plant.

Can't blame him for working on high paying military client job, helping build equipment for the men and women sacrificing much to keep me able to play with my toys. :thankyousign:

I used Envirosafe for my MGB. They were slow, but I told them I was in no hurry. Plastic on the paint, abrasive on the rust, and an epoxy primer.

Next time you are out, drive up to Fairmont to let me see what a street running TR looks like!

What LBC shop are you using in WV???

Neat looking B on your website
The 6 is undergoing some minor mods and clear coat touch ups, PO did less than stellar redo! Will come up to see what your are doing. When all else fails the Harley is still running.

Don't use any LBC car shop here. Is none. Use own shop. Love to tinker and bring back to life.

Intrigued by body panel idea, will come up to see. Maybe we can
