BN7 trunk lining

Now that the fuel cell has been replaced with a "period" tank, I set out to upholster the trunk. I purchased a kit from one of the usual suppliers and find that the Armacord section(s) that fit inside the covered hatch on the left (which usually houses the jack) was not part of the kit. Is this normal? Should I enquire of the supplier? There is no email address for this supplier anywhere on their website and phone calls tend to be answered by a young lady who takes orders but that's about it.
As always, any advice is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hey Jim,
Not sure who you got your kit from but that area should have the armacord included. I have purchased two sets for two different BN6's from AH Spares and that portion was always included. Would be difficult to make up that piece as part of it wraps around the vertical steel piece that separates the storage area from the spot where your spare tire goes. On a BN6 the armacord should be same color as the interior so would assume BN7 is the same but not sure. I would consider sending the one you got back and getting the one from AH Spares in UK.
Regards,
Mike

Those pieces should have been a part of the complete boot lining kit. They ahould be black on a BN6 and on a BN7. Get in touch with the supplier and tell them somebody missed packing them.

I bought one from the one's in Virginia and they did not include that piece. Called them on it and they said they never have. I had to purchase a yard of armacord and make it myself.

Hey Jim,
Rich is right, the armacord should be black on a BN6 or BN7. I was confusing the color issue with a BN1 or BN2 where it should be interior color ! Sorry for the confusion!
Regards,
Mike

Doesn't look promising stevebn2bj7.
I called the supplier (in Kansas). Spoke to a lovely lady who told me she didn't know but would find out and that it could take 8 weeks. I got a hunch I should buy the extra piece of Armacord and make my own too.
Cheers

that company is only good for when they might have something cheaper than moss because the people that work there are only order takers and have no knowledge of the products ,moss is alittle better there's 1 or 2 guys that have a knowledge of the parts
