BN4 rear bulkhead vinyl trim

I'm having a discussion as to whether there was vinyl on the sloping back panel behind the rear seat of Longbridge BN4s. I reckon there was and have seen a few pics of original cars showing it there. Any other opinions?

Also, what about underfelt for the rear floor carpets? I'm pretty sure there was underfelt on the entire floor and have seen a pic of an original red car with underfelt there. Any opinions on this one too?

Cheers,
Andy.

Thanks John. It must be a Longbridge feature as I have contacted the owner of a one-owner tricarb and it doesn't have anything on the sloping panel.

Andy.

Andy - Yes, the bulkhead vinyl was in place for the Longbridge cars and also for the Longbridge featured cars built in Abingdon. I don't know when it was stopped in production.

Yep, my Longbridge had vinyl as original.

It's interesting that I have had comment from a couple of knowledgeable people to say that no big Healey ever had vinyl on the back panel which really says to me that the Longbridge BN4 was for many years not considered a 'big' Healey by some.

Vinyl now installed.

Thanks,
Andy.

Hi Derek, guess my vinyl was not as original as I thought:smile:
