Hello listers,

Just a quick one about a good source for an original (fabric covered) wiring harness for a 1954 BN1 and if anybody has reproduced the plastic ID tag for their early BN1?(inside drivers foot well) I'm looking for any info on the plastic material and technique for engraving, or source for having it done. Thanks.

HI Deluxe, For the wiring harness you can check with British Wiring INC. However, I do not Know about the plastic bit.---Keoke

Hi deluxe, I had a new harness made up locally by someone who has an "octopus" that redid the original bumble colors in fabric, I have also had a plastic ID plate made with info gleaned from several sources

So zBLU, tell them what the other several sources are for the ID plate Info and who made the ID plate if you still have the data!---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

OK zBlu, Just check my file Addy is there--Thanks Much.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Hi Keoke,
Have sent relevant info plus some more to you to disseminate and pass on!
Also to all concerned there is some good info on larry varleys site

Zblu I have not gotten the data yet can you send it again please.---Keoke

keoke, i clicked on the blue part of your nick in the left hand box and it came up with an email address which i used to send info to.

Keoke, that is what I used!, in any case the plate is 3 3/16 wide and 1 15/16 high of ivory/off white in color and about 1/16 thick, texts have it with square corners, pics I have show rounded corners, there is quite a bit of difference in location of text on the two plates I have pics of!
