BN1 Gear Knob

Many years ago, when I was a wee lad and didn't know better, I had my 100 worked on at a place called Waterlooville Motors not far from Gatwick airport. My car had its BN2 4 speed installed many years before, but still had the BN1 knob in place. The mechanic talked me into swaping the BN1 knob for a plain unmarked one. I did not realize at the time the rarity of the BN1 knob. Well, its only 30 years later and it still bugs the heck out of me that I was conned. We live and learn I guess.

The question is, are these knobs reproduced now, or are they still super rare?
 
Moss sells reproductions for a little under $60, the originals were bakelite, I don't know if the repros are the original material or not, bakelite production has dropped of precipitously in recent years....I had a spare once, the indents for the numbers were partly polished off from use, but otherwise OK, don't remember if I ebayed it off or not, but if interested I can take a look over the weekend.
 
AH Spares sells one and would be around $30. I have bought from them in the past and the knob was bakelite. May be worth inquiring to see if their current knobs are bakelite.
