BN1 Fuel tank straps

I need to replace the tank mounting seal and the straps that secure the fuel tank. Most of the suppliers show them as for the BN4 onwards. Can anyone tell me if these items are compatible with the earlier cars?

It is understood the tank mounting seal can perish over time.

However, what is wrong with your tank straps.???
 
One was already snapped when I dismantled the car and the other was on its last legs and snaped when I took it out.

OH ,OK I thought they might be repairable.
 
Moss lists the BN1 straps as N/A but with a note that says "use late straps and nuts". I would guess from that that they are interchangeable. The difference may be BSF threads on the BN1 straps and UNF threads on the later ones. The sealing rubber on the bottom of the tank is different between the 4 cyl and 8 cyl cars. When I did my BN1 they were N/A and I had to make one but I see Moss has them listed now.

I saw a set of straps for sale on ebay today. I think they were $59.
