Is there a metallic green engine paint, close to original, available here in Canada other than whats available from Co's like Moss?
Dennis

Well IMOP Moss's Healey green is about as close as you can get. Every other paint supplier that also has the correct Healey Green paint and they all differ from one another-if you get what I mean.---Keoke

I guess I disagree. I believe the engine paint from Hirsch is a better paint and a better match.

I couldn't find any Healey paint on the Hirsh site. I just purchased a can of spray paint from Moss. I prepped and sprayed an original heat shield (that the PO, or the dealer, decided the car could do without).

IMHO, the match to the engine and the valve cover was better than I expected, I couldn't see any appreciable difference. I work with subtle color differences every day in building construction, I'm satisfied with the paint from Moss. FWIW

Hey Dave R, I'm probably going to Boise to pick up my son there, he's headed home in April, any chance we could buy you lunch and steal a look at your 100?

Hi dar,
I'm having trouble with the new forum. Only the first line of your post displays & no scroll bar. I don't know if "Private message" works either. Please send an email to rusd@velocitus.net

Regards,
Dave

dar100- Hirsch only sells it in quart cans.
It is a shade different than the Moss color. Some folks say that it's closer to the original. I'm not sure if there is a difference year to year...?
