Questions

parts catalog - why no coverage of any disc brakes in this parts catalog? is there a supplement available?

workshop manual - only the early (one piece with cross tube) caliper is covered. my calipers (split type) not included. is there a supplement available?

thanks

Frank-

For the parts catalog, are you refering to just the lack of illustrations? The pdf I acquired from web hunting over the years does cover the disk brake part numbers, but I don't think there were illustrations for those parts.

AFAIK the parts catalog illustrations were never updated; but as Randy says, the parts were listed in the later versions. Of course it's possible the BMIHT disc has an earlier parts catalogue.
I've got probably the same PDF file that Randy has, which is the 4th edition, 3rd amendment dated July 1962; making it very likely the last revision. The split calipers are on page 54.

Also AFAIK, the TR3 service manual was never updated for the split calipers. But since the calipers were never supposed to be separated, there was really no difference in any service information from the earlier solid calipers. I believe there are illustrations (along with the warning to never separate the caliper halves) in the TR4 shop manual though.

Frank , Pm me your e mail and I'll send you a PDF of the one I have.
