Blount British Car Show

Planning on it!

Anyone else going? It's a great, laid-back show, and you can't beat the setting and hospitality!

I am thinking about going since I have family in Maryville. My car wont win any trophies but hopefully wont be laughed off the field either (it is a nice driver - not a show car)

C'mon up, Robby - I'll be there, and most likely won't have an entry at all! It's a great show, and the Blount County folks are most hospitable.

By the way, there are usually far more drivers than show cars.

I have been watching the weather and it seems it is going to be a nice day - may load up and head up there

Hope to see some of the BCF crowd there on Saturday!

Mickey

Well I think I have decided to head up there. Am going to drive the Midget up - definitely not a show car but a dependable driver. May decide once I get there to just park it in the parking lot : )

Sorry I missed you, Robby. I was there this morning and saw Ray and Whitephrog. Pretty good turnout, from all appearances. Unfortunately, I left around 11:30.

Fun factor of the morning was when a Midget rolled up with a young mom at the wheel, and her daughter, who looked to be 9 or 10, in the passenger seat. Turns out that the car really belongs to the daughter, who's 15 and sporting a learner's permit! Cute girl who's gonna be swarmed by young suitors, no doubt!
